Join the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards, a FREE leadership camp for high school student sponsored by Hawaii Rotary Clubs.
Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) is an intensive leadership training and development program designed for high school students, open to all local public, private, and home-schooled students. Hosted by Rotary International's District 5000 Rotary Clubs, RYLA is held on the Islands of Hawai'i, Kauai, Maui, and Oahu.
WHAT HAPPENS DURING RYLA?
As a RYLA participant, you will experience a broad range of activities that encourage you to think about leadership principles and how to apply them in life. Adult Alaka'i Rotary Facilitators and student Youth Facilitators will take you through a variety of experiences, including virtual interactive games, activities and guided discussions on topics of leadership that you can relate to. Students from all across Hawai'i will participate in this virtual program that promises to empower and challenge you to become proactive in your school and community.
HOW MUCH DOES THIS ALL COST?
RYLA weekend experiences will be FREE to those accepted into the program because it is covered by your local Rotary club.

Rotary in Hawaii
Rotary in Hawaii has approximately 1,500 member Rotarians in 53 Clubs located on five islands of Oahu, Maui, Lanai, Kauai, and Hawaii Island. We are a part of 1.4 million Rotarians across the globe, comprised of neighbors, friends, and community leaders who are creating positive, lasting change in our communities and around the world. Our diverse occupations, cultures, and experiences give us a unique perspective. Our shared passion for service helps us accomplish remarkable feats.
Through our programs for emerging leaders, we're also helping young people get the skills and experience they need to make a real difference in the lives of others. We offer both service clubs and programs to help students and young professionals strengthen their leadership skills, expand their world understanding, and make new friends.
